Basically in Russia there is a saying: “Russia has two problems – idiots and bad roads”. And some people say – the main problem starts when the first problem starts fixing the second problem.
This will NOT stop the next invader of Russia. They will fly overhead in helicopters and transport planes.
If only the Russians had some sort of air defence system.
Yes, the highly capable Russian air defense system which allowed German teenager to overfly the entire Russia and land a Cessna in the Red Square. And those “invicible” Russian anti aircraft weapons, like one of those Pantsir systems that Israeli drone destroyed with ease in Syria. Those incredible S-300 and S-400 systems that can find and shoot down American F-22s and B-2 bombers with ease, as proven by extensive testing against actual stealth planes. Effective mostly in endless Russian propaganda. But that is nothing new. Russians lied and exaggerated their military system capabilities even to their Warsaw Pact military partners.
Yeah, so, why does anybody want to invade this place?
Beats me. More trouble than worth if you ask me. But some countries are paranoid, while actually being the aggressor. Crazy, isn’t it?

Russian City Street Repair Departments receive a yearly amount of money for street repairs. Unfortunately most of that money is allocated for large salaries of Directors. Citizens complain about the streets. When that happens, the Directors send out ad hoc gangs of often untrained careless laborers to make quick repairs. The results are what we see in these photos. Can I use the word ”corruption”.
